Flotronic Pumps

This is a case study by CMG member "Allingham Kyte"

An overview of the company:

Flotronic is one of the country’s leading suppliers of diaphragm pumps
for the food and non-food manufacturing industries. The company’s USP
is ‘One-Nut’ technology, allowing pumps to be taken apart and re-assembled
in minutes, just by un-doing one nut and without the need to come ‘off-line’,
thus saving time and money.

The Project:

The company had been in business for many years and felt that the time
was right to review its brand image. In 2006 AK was invited to make
recommendations for a face-lift.

As the business was long established and well known within the industry,
the brief was to retain some elements of the existing logo, in order to
preserve market recognition. A newer, more modern version of the logo was
created, together with a complete corporate identity, plus a new sales
brochure and technical manuals, all of which were produced in 9 languages.

The work also included a new web site, press advertising and mail shots.
