Smye Holland Associates provides public relations and marketing services to organisations involved in building, construction and property development. Much of our work is with businesses which are selling products and services to others within the construction industry. We also work with property developers and construction companies, assisting at all stages of development from initial community consultation through to securing planning consent - and then marketing to investors or occupiers. Much of our work involves engaging the media – everything from professional journals and websites to local papers, TV and radio – to communicate our clients' messages. We also use techniques such as direct mail, sponsorship and advertising - as well as websites, exhibitions, meetings and events - to meet clients' objectives. Where appropriate, we undertake market research to set benchmarks and evaluate results. Even for a simple media relations campaign, however, we aim to set and then hit agreed targets for the coverage obtained. At a more strategic level, we help our clients to formulate marketing plans covering not just communications but also fundamental issues of market segmentation and opportunity.
